THE THREE GAME PILLARS TO TRAIN
Updated: Oct 24, 2020
PUTTING/ SHORT GAME/ POWER GAME
In Golf there are three pillars on which the game is played and this applies to everyone, whether you are an amateur or professional player, without these 3 different swings no one can get to hole 18 with an acceptable score.
I'm talking about Putting, Short game and Full Swing (Power Swing).
That is, the pillars of the game, and of course, of everyone's golfing happiness.
3 different Swings, but with some things in common that we wanted to relate thanks to an innovative and versatile tool like JollyGolf.
Above all, you will be surprised by the ease with which you switch from one shot to another and the clarity of the common features between the various swings.
Each of the three swings requires a precise skill, that of hitting the ball in the center of the clubs, what we consider in the world of coaches the moment of truth. And this is the real trick for all of us! Thanks to the design of the JollyGolf, we were able to put together the main elements of the game and combine the mechanical characteristics of the three swings in a simple way.
You can finally have a tool to keep in the bag, which you can also use at home, in the warm up, with your teacher, with friends, which helps your practice but also acts as a guide, which reminds you the steps necessary to evolve the game. You will only have to understand how to apply it to the grip and perform with the exercises that we will advise you from time to time. You can choose to practice only one Swing or create a session that includes all 3. The JollyGolf will become a reliable partner and will remind you every time you practice what to do to improve. It will be very easy to use, and every time you use it you will feel more comfortable and see your strokes evolve in a radical way.
REMEMBER THAT :
HITTING IN THE CENTER OF THE CLUB IS PART OF LEARNING, IT GUIDES OUR FEELINGS.
CONTACT WITH THE BALL IS THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF THE GROWTH OF OUR GAME.
IT IS A VERY SPECIFIC SKILL THAT MUST BE ACQUIRED WITH TRAINING AND THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOOD PLAYER AND A BAD ONE!
HITTING THE SWEET SPOT IS LEARNING IN ITSELF !
A player who wants to improve must start from here, learn to understand how to feel the center of the club. It's a question of geometry, as Seve Ballesteros claimed :
it's not important to be nice in the backswing or in the finish, but to be nice in the impact phase !
OUR TECHNICAL GOLFISTICAL OBJECTIVE
After this due premise we try to understand what we really want in our game?
The answer should be quite simple: improve the way we hit the ball to make it go to the target, very clear right?
If we go further we should rely on what are the geometries that regulate the impact. Hit with the center of the clubface. Then check the clubface. Having an effective clubhead trajectory. Check the speed of the club. Have a correct angle of attack. Managing the dynamic loft. If you are ready now we will go to work on all these aspects and we will make sure to integrate them into your game thanks to JollyGolf. Of course you won't have to think about everything we've just listed, you'll just have to pay attention to the GASP before each shot and you'll get to mix them correctly yourself!
Have fun and have a good practice!
A LITTLE TECHNICAL REVIEW
Before we tackle every single swing, however, we do a little revision. The elements that you will find in the next links summarize some points that we have seen over time as technical constants referred to in every School or Golf Academy. Read them carefully and above all check them in front of a mirror or by taking some shots with your smartphone. You will see that paying attention to a single parameter such as posture will make you understand much of your Golf.
